Job Summary: This position supports the overall objective of the company to manage our customer relationships, help the company grow in both market share and revenue, and achieve the overall financial objectives set by the senior management team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting for new opportunities, manage existing customer accounts, and grow the territory in revenue and market share within an assigned territory.
  • Be responsible for learning the “Markem-Imaje Sales Process” including all procedures and policies.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to make good business decisions that are aligned with the company goals and priorities
  • Requires minimal management oversight
  • Able to demonstrate and sell the entire line of products, services, and software.
  • Operate prudently and within expense guidelines.
  • Demonstrate a proficiency in using the Markem-Imaje customer relationship management database.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

  • Required Education, Experience and Computer Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3 to 5 years related industrial sales experience
  • Successful history in sales in previous jobs
  • Computer literacy with knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point
